9x30 Design, pronounced "Nine by Thirty Design," is a small, innovative architecture firm located in Rochester, NY. We specialize in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. We approach every project with a "green" philosophy, incorporating design elements and materials that benefit people and our environment whenever possible. Our design team works closely with every client to achieve the best possible design solution to suit their unique needs. We also provide project management and general contracting on select projects.

 

Christopher Costanza, AIA is a Registered Architect in the state of New York. He specializes in commercial and industrial building design, as well as scientific research & testing facilities. Chris has worked for architecture and design-build firms in Rochester, New York, San Francisco and Berkeley, California. He holds two Master's degrees in Architecture. The first he received from Savannah College of Art and Design, where his focus was Historic Preservation and Structures. The second degree he received from the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied Building Science and Microclimate Design.

Amanda Everson Costanza is a designer specializing in single-family and multi-family residential projects, commercial projects, and educational building design. She has worked for architecture firms in Los Angeles, Oakland, and San Francisco, California on projects across the country. Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied residential design and landscape architecture at the College of Environmental Design.
